What is this event?This is a monthly prompt event that will be taking place during the year of 2023.To put it simply: one prompt a month every month.On the 22nd of every month, we will announce prompts for the coming month: two general prompts, a quote prompt, and a lyric prompt. You only need to choose one.After that, post your work between the 19th and 21st with #rgyear and tag us @ayearofrosegarden.-
How much time do we have to work on each prompt?Just under 30 days.Prompts are released on the 22nd of the preceding month. You have from that day until the 21st of the following month to work on and post your pieces. The blog will reblog anything posted in that time on the 19th-21st.Example:
Apr 22: New prompts are announced. You choose one to work on.
May 19-21: You post your work with the tag #rgyear and
@ayearofrosegarden
May 22: A new set of prompts are announced-
What if I’m a bit late?Late submissions are accepted, but they’ll be reblogged with next month’s submissions.-
What if I don’t want to follow the prompts?Unfortunately, we will not be reblogging submissions that do not have some connection to the prompts.-
What am I allowed to make for this event?Anything as long as the prompts are related in someway. Art, writing, music, cosplay, animation, video edits, poetry, moodboards; whatever comes to mind!

Are Mature works allowed?Mature works are allowed, but must have the mature content filters in place. Any mature post that does not have the mature filter on it will not be reblogged.Mature works reblogged will be tagged with #mature for organizational purposes.NOTE: As works must be tagged properly, AYearofRosegarden is not responsible for anyone who bypasses the content filters.-
